i wanted to post lah, bt thr's some technical problem wif my com and n realli cant b bothered liao, so juz wrote down on a piece of paper 1st, den post next time...

Had the best bbq i've ever had today, but the day ended real freakily...

During the previous choir practice last fridae, after planning abt comin bk for practice on... todae, the altos had the idea of havin a bondin outin of bbq. well, we were supposed to hav practice on dat day after tchr's dae celebration bt the no. of ppl dat turned up was mayb at most half of the actual choir size. ya...so the altos were talking abt goin for bbq after the practice todae, and everyone was so on, lik the sec ones and they all...

BUT, after the choir practice todae at 11plus, when those altos goin to the bbq are to stay bk, the no. of ppl left was reali a disappointment la! everyone was so on, bt in the end onli hav me, yuhan,pearlyn wee,dione,charmatine xt, jovina,yingtong,shaun and jinghui after all the ask parent thing..

( i hav a feelin dat this is gonna b a long post...but hu cares:D )

we agreed to meet at paya lebar mrt thr at 5pm, so we went hm 1st while yuhan,pearlyn,dione n jovina went to buy the food n stuff 1st. they pro lor, bought till $95.95, bt it doesnt seem lik a lot of stuff wen u look at receipt, thoght its rather long. after goin hm, I went to dagu’s hse wif my family 1st, coz my cousin is getting married tmr n we lik go for a sort of gatherin at their hse…

I was thinking of nt goin since thr was onli 10ppl, but I went,coz yuhan told mi to! Haha. I’m such a gd friend hor? Lolls. Jkjk.not boastin or wat ok!

Xiaoguzhang lompang mi 2 cck mrt at 3plus from dagu’s hse.. Ii saw a spider on his car! While waitin 4 the train 2 come, I was smsin yuhan n askin her whr she is, and she replied that she’s at cck mrt too! Looked left n right bt cant see her, den called finally see each other..we nvr plan to meet de. Its fated. muahaha…

We saw jinghui at je int, n we sat down waitin for rihini and jovina. Rohini couldn’t come for some reasons n jovina arrived at abt 4.30pm. kept countin down how many stations left to payalabar on the train… we late for abt 5mins(ok la)…meet pearlyn n dione and took bus 135 to marine parade, den walked to east coast park.

We walked from areaC to areaD, pit 21 to 47! Walked damn long ok.. at least an hr, carryin all our stuff.shaun pang-she us lor…sms n said dat he cant come, and we were left wif lik, 7ppl? charmaine joined us after we reached our pit, pit47. she took another route n walked much lesser…she was in outram park wen we r in payalabar okay?

Bt well, even though you’ll feel a bit lik : pathetic, bbq for 7ppl, wen alto hav abt 30ppl, u’ll realize dat little ppl is cool too, ok, actually cooler. hahas. I didn’t know dat im quite gd at startin the fire n stuff, mayb juz lucky ba, coz there’s alwaes other ppl tendin to the bbq pit wen u go bbq ma, while n sit down thr idling, sian diao… n its ALWAES dat thr’ll b so much food left, n most of the time u go bbq juz boringly eat a few stuff de. typical rite?

Now, I’ll xplain y this bbq of 7ppl is damn cool. Wif lesser ppl, thr wont reali b ppl left out n everyone plays their part in doin sometin. Im reali proud of the fire I, er, we did, coz its really the best one ever. Reali successful de. also, we kinda finished the food!

Our bbq was really fantastic. We cooked all the food by abt 7plus.8 den we sat down n eat together, nt lik typicalbbq, den “is my chicken wing done?” den go eat dat kind of stuff. we veri together de! (lols. Ps. Broken English) dione n jovina set the table wif bbq sauce, cups wif soft drinks, nicely folded tissue n even candles! The candles were used to keep flies away at 1st bt well, veri nice ambience. Ohya, n of coz wif the music all the time!

The food was really fab. tasted wonderful. N its better den the typical bbq’s. hav chichken wings, fishballs, prawns, hotdogs, salmon, scallop etc. and marshmallow! We actually heat the marshmallow wif the candle.lols. plus nutella…nice! n our chicken is cooked, but n burnt..pro rite! Its abt 7plus wen we started eatin den later it is actually 9 le..time flies wen u’re enjoyin it… sadly, jinghui went bk wen her parents came to fetch.

Dione n pearlyn were talking abt dolphins appearin at the ecp so must go to the beach, although veri dark le. They really made it sound veri real lor! Den they attked us wif water bombs at the beach, den the water fight started…from small plastic bags, to medium ones, to huge ones lik garbage bags. Water? From the sea la…nobody was dry luhhs.

Soon, we were playin with sparkles by the beach.its reali nice, n we even built a small look lik campfire thing bu putting sparkles on the sand to form a cone shape, den light together. Thr were abt 100sparkles, but well, gone within mins.we stood by the shore thr, holdin hands n shoutin screamin to the sea.. relieve stress!

Den, as we are walkin bk to our bbq pit, I saw this black figure on the beach. I bent down to take a closer look n was lik “this looks lik a soft toy…” den shrieked coz it actually is a dead cat…its super freaky lahhs!! We were runnin all over the beach but nvr see it..i totally freaked out n ran lor, along wif others. Scary wor. Somemore we stick the sparkles on the sand a bit lik jossticks lik dat, n thr were quite a lot of cats arnd us wen we’re eatin but we shoo-ed them away. Luckily its nt the 7th month anymore. But this is really a freaky endin for such a wonderful bbq…

Left ecp at 10sometin n reached hm at 10.45pm. (thanks charmaine’s mum!) coz she lompang us n I dropped opposite my hse.hehe. I doubt I’ll ever forget this awesome bbq.
